The photo for week 6 was taken at the beginning of Anniston's first international flight. We had just started to walk through the new International Terminal here in Atlanta, and Anniston wanted to walk on her own, she did not want to be carried, and did not want to ride in the stroller. She was having so much fun being a big girl walking through airport on her way to catch a plane to Germany.
She is growing up so fast. She is becoming more independent, and very strong willed. She changes a little bit everyday.

Project 52 Week 5
For week 5, bath time was the subject. When she is allowed to, Anniston really likes to play in the bubbles in the bath tub. She will play in the bubbles until the water in the tub is cold. We would let her do it every time she gets a bath, but she complains too much when bath time is over on the nights that she gets to play in the bubbles.
Project 52 Week 4
Week 4's picture had to come from the beach. That was a known fact. She had so much fun playing in the sand and water.
Sand in our toes!
The trip to the beach was Anniston's first experience with sand. Thankfully Anniston has had plenty of experience with water now, so she was not afraid of the water.
The house had a nice private piece of beach on the sound side of the island.
We set up Anniston's beach chair, and she was all set. She loved it. She liked the sand in her toes, and was not afraid of it at all.
She ran around on the beach with no inhibition. More than once she fell down face first in the sand, but she did not cry or complain, she just popped back up and wanted to keep going. We hosed her down, and she was back in the sand. She was the same was in the water, which was much more nerve racking.
Without fail, at some point during the days trip to the beach, Anniston would take a little nap in her float. She really liked to lay in her float like a big girl. The gentle rolling water and warm sun put her to sleep every time.
The biggest surprise of the week...Anniston tans. No matter how much 100SPF sunscreen we lathered the poor girl up with, her little arms and little legs got just a little more color to them everyday. We were sure that with her hair color, and what we thought was very fair skin, she would be prone to burning and not tanning....just like mommy. But, it turns out, she seems to be a little more like dad.
Anniston had a lot of fun on vacation. She went down to the beach everyday, and never wanted to come back in. I can't wait until she can swim, she will really have a lot of fun playing with her cousins.

Project 52 Week 3
Yes, I am still trying to keep up with this photo project. The pictures have been taken, I just needed to go through them, and pick my favorites.
The first week of July we went to the beach for the Byrd Family Vacation. We arrived at the house in Navarre, Florida on Saturday. It did not take long before Anniston helped me out with her picture for Week 3. She was looking out the big windows at the beach for the first time, with a look of amazement, wonder, and a little bit of....I wanna go out there!
