Before we ran out of time, we took some more pictures, this time in Black and White, Andrea wanted some pictures that were more the belly, by itself, to remember this experience by. She has said that I can share one with all of you.

Maybe I can convince her to let me print it for the room, I have concepts for 4 more pictures that will also be B&W once the baby is here, I think it will look nice in the room.
Speaking of the room, it is 98% done. The last piece will be put in this weekend, the second half of the window treatment. Andrea found a really cool mobile to put over her bed, the colors work really nicely with the rest of the room. I also go the wall shelf put up with her name spelled out in letters.

This has been such an interesting experience, so many things that I had no idea about, and watching Andrea change shape, and being with her as she has gone through this has been something that I am sure I won't forget.
Don't worry, we will keep everyone updated, I have my list of people to call and text messages to send once Anniston makes her appearance.
And just because she finally comes out to visit, this blog will keep going, I plan to keep it updated for as long as I can, so that those of our family and friends that can't be here with us, can see her grow up.
I love the black and white picture!
ReplyDeleteThe mobile looks cute and it fits perfectly in the room.
I can't believe the time is almost over and we will get to meet her soon. It seems like yesterday, that you guys told us about the pregnancy.
It's a great idea to keep this blog going. It will also be a great memory for Anniston later on. :)
I know, it seems like we just found out last week, and now this part is almost over. I am pretty confident that Andrea is ready to get this stage over with! I has been fun, but I too am at the stage where I am ready for her to be here. I fully expected her to be here already, I was sure she would be here two weeks early...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she is, you both are. It's an awesome experience, but now it's time for part two. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought so too, but she is taking her time. We'll see when she decides to enter the world of light... Hopefully soon! She has lots of people waiting for her with open arms, most importantly great parents.
The belly picture with Andrea's hands as a heart is unique. Wednesday, I realized Andrea only has two weeks left. I was sure that Anniston would be early. We still have a little time left. We are so looking forward to seeing Anniston for the first time and holding our granddaughter. We are SO ready to be grandparents. I know that you and Andrea are ready to be parents also. Love, Mother & Dad
