Great Grandma Ruby was even there...breaking the rules and sitting on the pumpkin for her photo op. I am sure we will go back in years to come, it will make a nice family tradition.

Its Pumpkin Season!
That's right...it's pumpkin season, and what better time to take Anniston to her first Pumpkin Patch. We chose Burt's Farm Pumpkin Patch in Dawsonville, Georgia. It is about 75 minutes from home. I had never been to a big pumpkin patch like this one. While you did not get to go pick your own pumpkin off the vine, it was a neat place. They had pumpkins of all sizes, shapes and colors. There were so many pumpkins, everything turned orange, and then everyone was wearing orange. We were not the only ones with the same idea of taking our children's picture in, on and around all the pumpkins. There were so many people there, it was a madhouse. But Anniston did really well with it. She was pretty tolerant of all the noise, and the picture taking. I think she is getting used to having a camera pointed at her...she ought to be, it seems we take her picture everyday.

Great pictures, it looks like you guys had a good time and Anniston was cooperative. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, she cooperated for a while, then she got hungry, and that always precedes tired.
