On June 25, Anniston had a big day. She went on her longest car ride yet. We drove the hour up to visit my parents house, and to our delight, she slept the whole way. Once we arrived, She got to meet a lot more new people. It started with her Uncle Trent, and his wife Aunt Sarah. Then she got to meet her Great Grandpa, Grandpa Rhoads. This is his first great grand daughter, and it was a special moment for me, that he got to meet her.



We took a Rhoads Family photo. I also took one of the four generations, but it did not turn out too good, I will redo it in a couple weeks, with a better lighting setup!


It was a busy day. But we needed to get home. Abbey still does not travel well, and she had been at home for a long time without supervision, and it was time to go make sure she behaved during her first quiet time since Anniston's arrival. Anniston slept all the way home, again to our delight and amazement.
