We are HERE!

After our nice leisurely drive to the Baby Factory known as Northside Hospital, we got checked into our labor and delivery room. The rooms are really big, with plenty of room to roam around, spread out, and do just about anything...too bad they did not provide a bigger place for dads to be to sleep.

They hooked Andrea up to a monitor to check the babies heart rate. It was pretty cool to see and hear her heartbeat.

As I write this, it is almost 6:30 PM, and the nurse is starting the IV, and has hooked the belly back up to the heart rate monitors.

There is not much to do while we wait, but we have a few movies to watch, and books to read...we will keep everyone updated as things progress.

  1. The room looks quite comfortable. Where do you sleep on the little bench? We hope and pray everything goes well. Thinking of you guys!

  2. Yep, that little bench on the right is my piece of real estate in this room...I made it through the night...barely.
