10:00 PM

In recovery, we were enjoying our time with our new baby girl...then I looked at the clock, and noticed that it was 10 PM. We had last seen family members at 7:45 PM, and they had all been waiting in the lobby to hear from us. I got Anniston bundled and in the crib to rest, and took the camera out to the lobby to find the family, and show them the first pictures of their new grand daughter.

After a short visit, and telling the story of the evenings events, I went back to recovery, and before too long Anniston was being moved up to the nursery, and Andrea was being moved up to the room we are in now. The nursery is right across the hall, so Anniston was not far away.

After her initial tests, and getting her security band, Anniston was allowed to come to our room, and the family could see her up close and in person for the first time.
