Today, June 28 Anniston got a treat. Late this afternoon, we found out that Grandpa Rhoads was playing golf just down the road from the house, and he wanted to come see Anniston. We said sure, but she has been a little rotten all day! She has not slept much today, she has kept Andrea up, and busy all day. Well, when Grandpa Rhoads got a hold of her, she calmed right down, and sat with her Grandpa for a while. We learned that my parenting, little did I know it, is based on how my Grandma Rhoads raised her kids. My dad was talking to Anniston, and Andrea thought it sounded just like me, at which point my dad informed us, that is how Grandma Rhoads did it. WHO KNEW!
Well, it seems that Anniston was not the only one who was tired...apparently they both were, and we caught them both napping!
Anniston slept some more in her bouncy seat, and the grown ups had dinner. It was nice to see dad on a Tuesday, but we really know he was only here to see his grand daughter.
